A program designed to give you information and tools to help you run your nonprofit. Whether you're in a leadership role, serving as staff or volunteer, or new to nonprofits all together, this series provides you with practical, hands-on learning. We will share tips and tools for small to midsize organizations, whether staffed or all-volunteer. We celebrate and welcome participants of all genders, part of the Native Nonprofit Learning Series.

Native Women's Leadership Forum
Native Action Network will host their 20th Annual Native Women’s Leadership Forum October 24-25 at the Muckleshoot Casino Resort. Their theme this year is Celebrating a Legacy of Leadership.
The Leadership Forum opens with registration on October 24, 2024; Workshops will generally begin at 9:00 a.m. and run through 4:00 p.m. In addition, there will be a welcome reception, an enduring spirit honoring luncheon, and a Tribal fashion show for registrants to network celebrate, and enjoy time in community.

This Conference will give you the information, tools, and networking to expand and build your skills and support the important work you do in your community.
The Conference features a Welcome Reception on October 7th at the beautiful Northern Quest Resort located in Airway Heights, WA. Free shuttle service is available from the Spokane International Airport to the hotel.
Registration is $150 per person and includes A Welcome Reception, Breakfast and lunch over two days, keynote speakers, panel discussions, and two full days of workshops and networking. You don't want to miss out on meeting all of the incredible Native nonprofit team members who will be in attendance!!

SIYAP 2024

Join us for SIYAP 2024: July 29th - August 9th!
One of the most anticipated programs RES offers every August is 'SIYAP' - Seattle Indigenous Youth Art & Performance - an intensive two (2) week summer theatre workshop in which youth explore traditional and contemporary performing arts and create a final public performance to be performed at the end of camp!
Programming will run Monday - Friday, from 10:00am - 4:00pm.
First week (July 29th - August 2nd) will be held in Puyallup! Includes camping out for canoe journey - workshop venue TBD but will be close to campgrounds!
Second week (August 5th - 9th) will be held in the Red Eagle Soaring Theatre at the King Street Station! (303 S Jackson St, Seattle, WA 98104. 2nd floor)
Final performance will be at King Street Station on Friday, August 11th at 7:00pm.
All Indigenous Youth ages 10-19 are welcome to join!!

Native Action Network is hosting a Public Speaking Workshop on Saturday, July 27! This is a FREE in-person workshop in Seattle, WA.
This workshop will be facilitated by Aimée Bruneau. Aimée Bruneau is a public speaking and communication coach. She is also a professor of acting, an audiobook narrator, and a theatre actor and director. She earned her MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.
Time: 9AM - 3PM

Native Action Network 2024 Ambassador Program Applications Due
Native Action Network ("NAN”), a non-profit organization, is seeking qualified Native womxn candidates to serve as our 2024 Ambassador. The Ambassador will travel to national Native conferences to represent NAN, receive unique mentoring opportunities, and refine their leadership and advocacy skills. Open to Native womxn aged 21-26.
